Patriots video: Tom Brady throws a gorgeous touchdown to Phillip Dorsett
The New England Patriots may as well already be listed as 7-0 in the AFC East standings as the defending Super Bowl Champions are absolutely dominating the rival New York Jets on Monday Night Football. With the Patriots coming at the Jets with quite the well-rounded attack, of course, future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady is at the forefront of such an attack.
Brady has already notched a touchdown pass as a result of the early portion of this AFC East clash as the Patriots signal-caller dropped an absolute dime to wide receiver Phillip Dorsett to put New England up 17-0 late in the first quarter. The 26-yard pitch and catch between Brady and Dorsett came after Patriots running back Sony Michel punched one in the end zone followed by a New England field goal, thanks to the team’s 15 interception of the season.

The Patriots entered the Monday evening matchup against the Jets as nearly 10-point favorites, which means just about everyone in Las Vegas or otherwise knew that New England was not about to become the victim of a trap game. Currently a perfect 6-0 on the year, the Patriots are looking to drop the arch-rival Jets to a dismal 1-5 on the season, good for first and third place in the AFC East division, respectively.
Despite the Patriots’ continued dominance, the Buffalo Bills are still 5-1 and remain a serious threat in the divisional standings. On the other hand, the lowly Jets and winless Miami Dolphins don’t appear primed for major turnarounds anytime soon.
