Paul George names new puppy after Kobe Bryant

Lakers’ legend Kobe Bryant retired after the 2015-16 season, but his amazing play on the court and relentless determination will never be forgotten. This is especially true for the family of Pacers’ star, Paul George.

The George family recently brought home an adorable pitbull puppy and, in honor of the Lakers’ legend, the family thought it was only right to name it Kobe. PG3 posted a video of his daughter and Kobe to Instagram.

Shoutout my buddies @bullybeachouse for the amazing pitbull! My daughter and I love him as you can tell and I know King can't wait to meet him as well.. Out of respect of the mamba it's only right to name him KOBE! #Legend
