For many of today's NBA players, showing up to a game with a lot of cameras on them is the perfect opportunity to make a fashion statement.

Whether it's one of the many different types of outfits worn Oklahoma City Thunder superstar point guard Russell Westbrook or Golden State Warriors shooting guard Nick Young showing up to a game in a white bathrobe and white boxer shorts, everyone has their own unique style of fashion.

However, when it comes to New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis, it was revealed to Will Guillory of The Times-Picayune that the power forward was the only player on his team to arrive at Game 1 against the Portland Trail Blazers wearing a suit.

“It was just a playoff thing. Every time I see somebody in the playoffs, they wear a suit. So, I just figured that was a thing. Then, I got on the bus and I was the only player with a suit on,” Davis said.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with keeping it classy like Davis did on Saturday night. Regardless, Davis was easily the best player on the court at Moda Center in Game 1 as he led the Pelicans to a 97-95 victory over the Blazers with a game-high 35 points on 14-of-26 shooting from the field, 14 rebounds, four blocked shots, and two steals. It seems that his power dressing translated on the court.

Davis and the Pelicans will look to steal another victory later tonight in Game 2 and head back home to New Orleans with a 2-0 series lead.
