The United States Presidential Election is boiling down to a tight race between incumbent President Donald Trump and Democrat representative Joe Biden. The two are neck-and-neck in the votes and New Orleans Pelicans guard Josh Hart can't believe it. The 25-year old expressed his dismay on Twitter as the votes continue piling up for the Republican, whom Hart called racist.

The presidential race is definitely heating up with Joe Biden currently holding a narrow lead over Donald Trump. Biden initially raced to a huge lead after he won the states of California and New York, among others. However, Trump came rallying back to close the gap, winning key states such as Florida and Ohio.

A lot of NBA players are siding with Joe Biden in the 2020 elections and have called for a change in the White House. Some around the Association have called out Trump for his actions and racism, and they want a stop to how he is handling the country, especially during these trying times.

Aside from dealing with the global coronavirus pandemic, the United States has also dealt with emerging police brutality across the nation. This has prompted the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement in the country. The NBA has done outstanding job in being at the forefront of the movement, especially throughout the 2020 NBA playoffs.

Among the players' loudest rallying cries over the past months include encouraging people to vote. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James founded More Than A Vote, a voting rights organization, in an effort to get more people, especially the youth, to exercise the right to vote.

The presidential elections is about to come to a decision soon. Will the NBA's efforts over this past year bear its fruits? We'll soon find out. Until then, Josh Hart, the Pelicans, Donald Trump, Joe Biden, and the entire country will have to wait to see what happens next.
