While the New Orleans Pelicans have explored potential deals involving power forward Julius Randle, it's unlikely he'll be moved before the Feb. 7 trade deadline, according to Will Guillory of The Atheltic.
Randle has reportedly developed a strong bond with the team's coaching and training staff, and there's a good chance New Orleans could keep the talented big man in The Big Easy for the long-term.

Julius Randle signed a two-year, $17.7 million contract with the Pelicans last summer after spending the first four years of his NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The 24-year-old is making $8,641,000 this season and has a player option worth $9,073,050 for the 2019-20 campaign.
In 47 games this season for New Orleans, Randle is averaging a career-high 19.9 points per contest while shooting 54.4 percent from the field, 31.8 percent from beyond the arc and 73.8 percent from the free-throw line. The five-year pro is also averaging 9.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
As we all know by now, Anthony Davis has requested a trade from the Pelicans.
The belief around the league was New Orleans would look to part ways with Randle, Nikola Mirotic and Jrue Holiday and embark on a full rebuild.
Mirotic still could get traded, but it looks like Randle and Holiday are going to remain with the franchise.
