The matchup between the New York Knicks and New Orleans Pelicans is a game that contains serious playoff contentions for both sides. Both teams are doing everything they can to stay alive, as the NBA playoffs linger in the near distance.

Lonzo Ball has had his name swirling around the rumor mill throughout most of this season. He was a potential trade target for a number of different organizations, however, an agreement was never made. Ball is finishing up this season in New Orleans and will likely be playing for a new team next year.

However, during the game against the Knicks, Ball delivered an impressive halfcourt alley-oop to star forward Zion Williamson, per Bleacher Report. The pass makes one wonder if leaving the Pelicans is the best decision for Lonzo Ball.

The pass is as quick as lightning as it finds its mark in the blink of an eye. Williamson utilizes his incredible athletic prowess to jump up and put down a quick slam. The Knicks defense doesn't even know what to do besides point the finger at each other and ask, “who's guy is that?”

Zion Williamson has been a basketball phenom since his days in high school. He grew a mass following through his highlight reel leading up to college. He eventually found his way at Duke, playing for coach Mike Krzyzewski. After just one year in college, Williamson took his talents to the NBA and was drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans, first overall.

With Ball being a pass-first player, he and Williamson could build a special chemistry on the court for the future for the Pelicans. Although unlikely, this incredible alley-oop play could have the front office second-guessing their plans for the offseason.
