Many great debates have divided humanity for the longest time. From the chicken-egg talk, relevance of brunch, to the NBA's GOAT conversation. Lately, though, New Orleans Pelicans star forward Anthony Davis posted a video suggesting that he has shaved his unibrow.

Yes, his trademark unibrow that has pushed his career to greater heights all these years. Seeing the video is already as horrific as watching one of the seven wonders of the world get pulverized. After the video, Davis sans the unibrow is so unrecognizable that he'll need a name tag when he enters arenas or attends team practices.

That's how big this landscape change is for the Pelicans' franchise player. But there's more to it. What has fired up the neurons of everyone in the whole Twitterverse is the legitimacy of the video. While there's no denying that it was indeed Davis, many argue that he didn't really shave his unibrow at all, making this as potentially one of the greatest hoaxes in history.

Everyone knows Zaza Pachulia is clumsy, but for someone as coordinated as Davis, having the camera get bumped is so convenient that it screams fake. The Red Bull towel is too obvious that this might even be an ad or gimmick on their part. While the question could have been easily crushed had Davis posted this on April Fool's Day and not a day earlier — although technically it is April 1st in some parts of the world and Davis isn't necessarily addressing his American audience given his wide popularity.

Regardless, here are some of the best reactions gathered from Twitter.

Everyone will just have to wait as this urgent matter develops. If this turns out to be true, we can all console our brow-ken selves with the wise saying that two is better than one.
