Although center DeMarcus Cousins was unable to suit up and play alongside his teammates, he got a front row seat to watch the New Orleans Pelicans take a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Portland Trail Blazers with a 119-102 victory on Thursday night.

Cousins definitely enjoyed the Boogie chants that he got during the game at Smoothie King Center, which can be seen in the video posted below by the Pelicans' official Twitter account.

It's great to see Cousins with his teammates despite not being able to play due to his season-ending Achilles injury suffered in late January against the Houston Rockets.

As for Thursday night's game, the Pelicans' frontcourt went wild as power forwards Nikola Mirotic and Anthony Davis went off for a game-high 30 and 28 points, respectively.

When asked about how it feels to be 3-0 so far in the playoffs, Davis said he was very proud of his guys on both offense and defense.

“It feels great. We came out firing on defense, playing for each other, flying around, and played great offensively throughout the course of the game,” Davis said immediately after the win, via Fox Sports Southwest. “We had a couple of mishaps, but we fought through it.”

New Orleans will look to complete the series sweep of Portland on Saturday evening and advance to the Western Conference semifinals.
