The Brooklyn Nets fans were having a bit of fun on Wednesday at the expense of Detroit Pistons guard Reggie Jackson when these two teams matched up against each other in the Barclays Center.

At one point in the game, the home crowd started chanting “Bobby Shmurda” as Jackson was taking his free-throws. Shmurda, a Brooklyn-based rapper, has a striking resemblance with Jackson, and the Nets supporters thought they would remind the Pistons veteran about his doppelganger. In response, Jackson gamely egged on the cheers by doing Shmurda's highly-popular “Shmoney Dance.”

That's a pretty hilarious reaction from Jackson, who did not seem to take offense in what the crowd was trying to do. As a matter of fact, this may have fueled him up a bit, with the 29-year-old finishing with a team-high 23 points on 8-of-14 from the field and 3-of-5 from the line. The 6-foot-3 point guard also accounted for four 3-pointers, three rebounds, five assists, and a block in another noteworthy performance of the Pistons bench.

This was Jackson's fourth game back following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to a back injury. Unfortunately for the Pistons, they've lost three out of the four games with Jackson in the lineup. Detroit is currently at 17-32 and continues to fade in the East. Right now, they are four and a half games outside the playoffs picture, and if this trend continues within the next few days, it would not be a surprise if the front office decides to blow this roster up before the trade deadline.
