WATCH: Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Official Trailer

We must admit it, the new trailer has gotten us excited again for the Pokemon Diamond & Pearl Remakes. Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl will be coming out on November 19, 2021, which is still a long way ahead. But the new trailer is making us used to the new graphics, and we're starting to grow fond of it, even. Based on the trailers, it seems like GameFreak is staying true to their word that this remake will be faithful to the originals. Poffins, Poketch, HMs, and strolling at Amity Square all return.

Whether or not either game will have Pokemon Platinum content is currently unknown, however. There's also still a chance that GameFreak simply hasn't shown everything in store yet. The game may yet feature new content that is not present in the originals. With two months away from the release date, there's still plenty of time for GameFreak to show any of these features if there are in fact any. After all, the previous remakes: Heartgold and Soulsilver, included new features not present in the originals, including updated features from Crystal.
