If you haven't heard of Cade Cunningham then you haven't kept up with college basketball over this past year. Don't worry college basketball got hit hard by COVID, and thus the ratings have been way down.

Don't tell that to Oklahoma State's Cade Cunningham. Just a few months ahead of the NBA Draft, he is expected to go first overall. His presence was a big reason that Oklahoma State was able to upset Baylor in the Big 12 Tournament Semi-Finals. Cunningham was stellar in the win, leading the Cowboys in points (28), rebounds (8), and assists (5).

Cunningham is projected to be a darling in the NBA. Expected to go first or second at worst in the 2021 NBA Draft, he is on his way to being a household name. A good comparison for Cade Cunningham is essentially Ben Simmons with a jump shot.

His size, ball skills, and athleticism are unmatched at the college level this year. With March Madness looming, expect his draft capital to just keep rising. Cade Cunningham's ability to be a floor general, helps elevates his teammate's play. He's taken a so-so program in Oklahoma State and turned it into one of the dynamic teams in the country.

With Selection Sunday looming in the near distance, OSU will face the third seed Texas Longhorns tomorrow evening in the Big 12 Championship game. With another strong performance and perhaps a win, Oklahoma State will be in a good position when the NCAA announces its seeding. It also means that the legend of Cade Cunningham's will continue to grow.
