Tom's Guide reports that Amazon Prime subscribers will get first dibs on PS5 restocks, once they come in, that is. According to the report, Amazon has started giving Prime subscribers service priority access to PS5 restock.

The last time that the PlayStation 5 has been restocked on Amazon, Tom's Guide notes that Prime subscribers included priority access for Prime Subscribers. This will likely be the case moving forward as well.

The continued shortage of PS5 units makes it a very valuable commodity. Both resellers and gamers anticipate every time a new sale of the game console comes up. With that in mind, any restock of the PS5 might end up being devoured entirely by Prime subscribers, with non-premium members not having a chance to snap up one of the console units. That's why if you want to get even just a sliver of a chance to get a PS5 unit from Amazon, better consider turning on that subscription. It has some great exclusives coming up already, not that it should pressure you, but owning one makes more sense now than at launch when it virtually had no exclusives.
