PSG star Kylian Mbappe has long been linked with a move away from the club when his contract expires in June. It's practically a foregone conclusion that the Frenchman will be headed to Spain to join Real Madrid this summer. Well, those are the rumors at least. Mbappe himself adamantly declared Sunday that no decision on his future had been made, refusing to rule out re-upping with PSG and staying in Paris beyond this season.

“I haven't made my choice on the future, everyone knows that,” Mbappe said. “I'm thinking, there are new elements and a lot of parameters. If I had made my decision, I would've announced it.”

When asked if it was possible he'd be a PSG player in 2022-23, Mbappe replied simply, “Yes, of course.”

There you have it, folks. Mbappe is still set to test the market in free agency, and he isn't ruling out a return to the French capital either. While Real Madrid has been circling sharks in the water, Mbappe isn't rushing his decision on where he'll play next.

Most had effectively ruled out the possibility of Mbappe signing a new deal at PSG, but according to the man himself, it's entirely on the table for him to return. Fans in Paris ought to be delighted by his latest update, though there's absolutely no guarantee it'll amount to anything. Still, with Mbappe declaring he's still undecided on his future, the chase Real Madrid was fully expected to win may prove a bit closer than initially anticipated.
