PUBG Continental Series returns this year with a bigger, more exciting tournament. The PUBG Continental Series 4 (PCS4) will be running this June for three weeks, with a total prize pool of $1,000,000.

PCS4 PUBG Continental Series 4 starts June 10, 2021

PUBG Corp. announced the start of the next season in PUBG Esports. The PCS4 will feature a much larger prize pool and now comes with more matches for fans to enjoy. Each regional tournament will run a total of 36 matches across six days, played throughout three weeks. Just like before, there will be a separate tournament for each of the four participating regions. The Asia-Pacific and Americas region will play on Thursdays and Fridays, starting June 10-11. Meanwhile, the Asia and Europe regions will play on Saturdays and Sundays, starting June 12-13.

Each regional tournament will feature a total of $250,000, with $20,000 worth to be given away to winners of special prizes. These special prizes are Kill Leader ($5,000), Insane Squad ($5,000), and All PCS Team ($2,500 each).

Meanwhile, changes to the PUBG Esports rules will be implemented in PCS4 for the first time. The changes state that kill points will be totally eradicated. Instead, scores will now be determined entirely by the team's survival placement. In the case of ties, that's the only time that kills make an impact. Kill scores will break ties in placement.

PCS4 also notably now includes Latin America in the competing regions for PUBG Esports. Teams from Latin America will be joining the Americas regional tournaments.

PUBG Continental Series started last year amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It started with a response to the global health crisis. PCS debuted with a charity tournament that raised money for charity, which shows consistency in PUBG‘s philanthropic nature. Previously, PUBG also donated a little more than $200,000 to the PM CARES fund in India to bolster the country's COVID-19 response.
