After the Los Angeles Rams lost 13-3 in the Super Bowl to the New England Patriots, Rams offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth had some words of wisdom.

“For me, what means the most is guys see me hold my head high, they see me confident in them and loving them. At the end of the day, we're all gonna die.”

The Rams came into this game as the favorites. Their success this past season was unprecedented. Nobody expected them to be completely blown out of a game like so. Sean McVay's offensive success over the past two seasons has proven to be very prolific. Unfortunately, Jared Goff collapsed at the wrong time.

This past season they went 13-3 and handily won the NFC West division. Their only big loss was in Week 14 against the Chicago Bears. Matt Nagy and his weapon off the edge Khalil Mack held the Rams to only six points. Goff kept giving up turnovers on downs.

The Patriots were also able to get into Goff's head in the same way. When he's pressured, he forces throws that just aren't there. Its something that shouldn't be a problem for Goff, but his lack of experience on the big stage shows. Goff only threw for 229 yards on 18-of-39 attempts. He was also sacked four times and threw one interception.

Hopefully, the Rams will embrace Whitworth's perspective and will learn from their loss. They still have one of the best teams in the league. They very well could be back here next season.
