Trade rumors have swirled about teams having an interest in Pascal Siakam amid his potential departure from the Toronto Raptors. A report came out that few teams were interested in Siakam, including the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, and Los Angeles Clippers.

However, Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet took to Twitter to respond to those rumors and had a hilarious response.

Let them know VanVleet.

Siakam's departure from the Raptors is a bit puzzling and perhaps these rumors are nothing more than just that. Toronto missed the playoffs this past season and then watched Kyle Lowry depart to the Miami Heat via a sign-and-trade during a wild NBA free agency period.

The Raptors took Scottie Barnes with the fourth pick in the NBA Draft, and with Siakam on board, this Raptors team looks like they should bounce back and make the playoffs once again this upcoming season.

If the Raptors do decide to trade Siakam or not remains up in the air. Either way, VanVleet isn't here for it and wants him to stay in Canada and put their tough 2020-2021 season behind them and move forward in the suddenly tough Eastern Conference.

With free agency winding down and only a few names left, the trades could start circulating more and more, and perhaps Siakam's Raptors days are numbered. Only time will tell.
