Toronto Raptors superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard says it was a “good experience” experiencing mother nature and all four seasons living in Toronto this year.

Leonard grew up in California, played his college ball at San Diego State and began his NBA career with the San Antonio Spurs, who play in Texas. Leonard has been in warm climates his whole life, so living in Toronto was a new experience for him, one that he seems to have enjoyed.

When the Raptors traded for Kawhi Leonard last summer, there were multiple reports which surfaced claiming that Kawhi wasn't looking forward to living in Toronto since it gets really cold there during the winter. All season long, Leonard was linked to the Los Angeles Clippers, who have cap space to sign two max contract players this offseason.

After leading the Raptors to the NBA championship this season and seeing a whole country serenade him with love, some believe it might be too difficult for Leonard to leave Toronto this summer in free agency, no matter how cold it gets during the winter.

That California lifestyle and weather, though, is definitely something Leonard is going to take into consideration, along with being closer to his family.
