Marc Gasol has a chance to make it two-of-two tomorrow night if Spain manages to defeat Argentina and bag the 2019 FIBA World Cup championship. While the possibility “doubling up” on the championships is very much within reach, the Toronto Raptors center doesn't seem to be too caught up with it.

“I just cherish every moment for what it is,” the three-time NBA All-Star told FIBA, per Gulf News.

“I don’t try to double up. I want to give the maximum for every occasion.”

Furthermore, Gasol appears focused on this sole task of winning the world championship for Spain.

“It is two completely different situations. I’m going to give my best to win a World Cup for Spain.”

As we saw, Gasol helped steer Toronto to its first ever NBA championship this past season. He played tremendous defense throughout the Raptors' playoff run and became a key cog for their offense as well.

With his first NBA championship in the bag, Gasol has the chance to add another hardware to his 2019 collection as he looks to lead Spain to the top of the world once again.

Spain last won the FIBA World Cup in 2006, where a 21 year-old beefier Marc Gasol helped lead the squad along with his older brother Pau. Now, 13 years later, at 34-years old and some 50 lbs. lighter, the Spanish center is balling out for his home country.

In Spain's thrilling double-overtime semi-final victory over Australia, Gasol netted 33 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two blocks, and shot 11-of-19 from the field.

The 2019 FIBA World Cup Finale between Spain and Argentina will be on Sunday.
