The All-Star Game is going to be revolutionary as a couple of big changes to its format as well as being a grand tribute to Kobe Bryant. The name of the Team Giannis head coach has been announced, and it's going to be Nick Nurse.

The league announced via a statement shared to reporters like CP24's Cristina Tenaglia that Nick Nurse's staff managed to impress the league with how they're leading the Raptors through the Eastern Conference.

The statement reads:

Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse and his staff have earned the spot to coach Team Giannis in the 2020 NBA All-Star Game, which will be played on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. ET at the United Center in Chicago.

With Tonights 105-92 victory over the Detroit Pistons, the Raptors (35-14, .714) clinched thee best record in th Easten Conference through games played on Sunday, Feb. 2 among the 14 teams with a head coach eligible for the 2020 NBA All-Star Game. The Milwaukee Bucks' Mike Budenholzer is ineligible because he served as a head coach in last year's NBA All-Star Game.”

A look at the Eastern Conference standings will point to the Bucks as the overall favorite. However, since they also held the top spot in the East last year, it was impossible for Budenholzer to hold the position.

Meanwhile, Nurse has been impressive with his Raptors. While many thought that Toronto would return to irrelevance due to Kawhi Leonard's departure, he managed to transform the Raptors into an entertaining basketball team. He managed to transform Pascal Siakam into a legit star and is doing wonders with a mixture of savvy veterans and hungry players in his roster. There's no question that he's the best fit for the job after the Bucks head coach.

It's going to be an entertaining match, and fans will be looking forward to the magic Giannis and Nurse will be able to make.
