Toronto Raptors rising star Scottie Barnes enjoys a bit of gaming during his free time. The reigning Rookie of the Year has a certain affinity to NBA 2K — understandably so — and he's been working hard to be the best GM of his NBA 2K MyTeam.

Barnes recently had a relatively noteworthy pull on his squad when he picked up Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid. As it turns out, however, the 20-year-old just wasn't very pleased with his pull — and he wasn't shy about making his true feelings known (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

“Ah, sh*t. We selling his ass immediately,” Barnes said.

Barnes no longer explained why he didn't want Embiid on his squad, but he made it abundantly clear that he was going to get rid of the prized big man as soon as humanly possible. I guess Scottie had a different direction in mind, and the Sixers star just didn't fit in his plans.

What we can say with a bit of certainty, however, is that the Raptors absolutely feel the opposite way about Barnes. Toronto is all-in on the former fourth overall pick, and they see him as an integral piece for their future. So much so, that reports suggest that Toronto has been unwilling to include Barnes in a potential trade package for Kevin Durant.

KD is a generational talent, a future Hall of Famer, and the type of superstar that will instantly propel his team as a title contender. The fact that the Raptors aren't even considering sending Scottie Barnes to Brooklyn in exchange for Durant speaks volumes of how highly they think of this young man.
