The trade rumors surrounding OG Anunoby continue to swirl as the offseason goes on, with rumblings that he might not be thrilled with his role upon Scottie Barnes' emergence. Teams are lining up to trade for the Toronto Raptors' defensive stalwart, who is not being claimed to be untouchable by Toronto. The latest two teams to be brought up as players Anunoby sweepstakes are the Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs.

According to Matt Moore of The Action Network, the Nuggets and Spurs are seen as real candidates to acquire Anunoby from the Raptors. Another team is the Portland Trail Blazers, who are trying their best to use their seventh overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft in trades.

Among the potential trade partners for an Anunoby deal, Portland is consistently mentioned as a possibility, along with Denver and San Antonio. The Blazers are expected to be aggressive with the seventh pick in trade talks as they look to get win-now talent back around Damian Lillard.

The Trail Blazers and Utah Jazz were recently linked to Anunoby, who just averaged career highs of 17.1 points and 2.6 assists per game while shooting 36.3 percent from deep. The 24-year-old is a perennial All-Defensive Team candidate and reliable shooter from deep. His scoring has improved year after year with the Raptors, making him a popular choice for players most likely to break out into a star.

The Spurs and Nuggets are wise to pursue OG Anunoby, who remains a very good player despite not yet approaching true All-Star status. The Raptors will not make it easy, though. Their asking price will be very high.
