Toronto Raptors center Marc Gasol is not traditionally known for his shooting from long range, but during the third quarter of Wednesday’s game against the New York Knicks, Gasol showed no fear by letting it fly from way beyond the arc.

The evolution of Gasol’s game over his career has seen him take more threes as he has progressed in age. This season, he is averaging better than a make per game from deep, although it’s unlikely that many have been as far behind the arc as that dagger against New York was.
The Raptors cruised to a rout of their Atlantic Division rivals in the first meeting between the two teams in 2019-20. The victory moved Toronto to 8-0 at home on the season. They’ll next lock up with the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 24.
