Toronto Raptors swingman OG Anunoby understands that sometimes, you have to take a more lighthearted approach to basketball.

Anunoby had a humorous take on Toronto's winning streak ahead of their game against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night, saying the only other time he has won this many games in a row is on the Connect 4 board.

As funny as the analogy is, the Raptors really have been treating opposing teams like child's play as of late. Toronto has won each of their last 15 games entering Wednesday's matchup with the Nets, with seven of those victories coming by double digits.

Despite losing Kawhi Leonard this past summer, the Raptors have made gains in the aggregate.

Pascal Siakam has developed into a star, and he was even voted to be a starter in the 2020 NBA All-Star Game. Meanwhile, Kyle Lowry also made the All-Star team, while Fred VanVleet is excelling on both ends of the floor at the other backcourt spot.

OG Anunoby has also been a crucial member of Toronto's success. In fact, he is arguably benefiting most from Leonard's departure.

The 22-year-old started in 52 of the team's first 53 games, averaging 10.4 points and 5.4 rebounds while shooting close to 38 percent from beyond the arc. Anunoby gives the Raptors added length on the defensive end, and he looks like he could be the next rising star in Toronto — much like what Siakam experienced during his rapid ascension.

Interestingly enough, this current streak is not even the longest of the season, not even in Toronto's own conference. The Milwaukee Bucks won 18 straight games between Nov. 10 and Dec. 14.

Nonetheless, the Raptors are playing some great basketball while also staking their claim as Milwaukee's toughest foe in the East.
