The Washington Redskins have gotten off to an 0-3 start, and while they have been able to score some points, their offense has not been able to put together a full 60-minute effort.

They had their worst performance of the season on Monday night, as they mustered just 15 points in a 16-point rout at the hands of the Chicago Bears.

Afterward, Redskins running back Adrian Peterson expressed bewilderment over the Redskins' offensive struggles.

“Disbelief, because we have so much talent and this is the third week in a row that we’re just sitting here like, ‘God.’ You know, [if] we can just get it going for four quarters,” Peterson said, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Trailing the Bears 28-0 at one point, the Redskins scored 15 unanswered points and were driving to try and trim the lead even further before Case Keenum fumbled on a fourth-and-one.

It was one of four turnovers on the night for Keenum, who also threw three interceptions in the loss.

As for Peterson? The veteran carried the ball 12 times for 37 yards and was unable to convert a crucial third-and-one, which led to the play where Keenum fumbled on fourth down.

“We have a really good team,” Peterson said. “Thinking about everything that happened today, four, five turnovers, just missed opportunities in the run game, the pass game. I think the defense did an outstanding job, we put them in some terrible positions.”

Time is running out on Washington, and next week, it will head on the road to take on the New York Giants.
