Washington Redskins Bryce Love is still recovering from an ACL injury that he suffered at Stanford and it doesn't look like he is going to be ready for the start of the season. Leading into the draft there was some concern with Love's knee because his ACL was still stiff.

With the ACL still being stiff leading into the draft, there were a lot of concerns about if he will be able to regain the same explosiveness he had in college. There were also concerns about how long it would take for him to get back on the field.

It seems at least some of those concerns are coming true with Love probably missing the start of the season. Even though he won't be ready to play, there is a lot of chatter about how good the running back room will be this upcoming season. There is a lot of competition between Adrian Peterson, Darius Guice, and Chris Thompson among others and that is making everyone better.

“It's upped our game, and those guys get a little bit upset when all of the sudden a guy gets a couple of reps and they're looking at me like, ‘Coach, when is my turn?'” running backs coach Randy Jordan said, per the team's official website. “It makes it easy to coach when you've got a good room like that.”

When Love is healthy, he is going to have to earn his reps in a crowded backfield, but the most important thing right now is getting Love to 100 percent and ready to step onto the field.
