Domestic charges recently pressed to former Washington Football Team running back Derrius Guice saw the end of his time in the NFL. However, more allegations dating back to his college days are now being dug and spurned towards him.

USA Today released a report which kept the identities of the women confidential.

Two former LSU students claim ex-Washington RB Derrius Guice raped them in 2016 when he was a rising star freshman. Although multiple coaches were notified, LSU does not appear to have investigated either woman’s claims, a USA TODAY investigation found.

The first woman, who did not play sports, said she lived in the same apartment complex as many athletes. Derrius Guice showed up uninvited to a party that the woman hosted. After passing out in her bedroom, she felt that she was assaulted by the player that night.

The second woman was a former LSU tennis player. She reportedly met Guice for the first time in late June 2016 at a bar near the LSU campus. After spending the night at the bar, Guice allegedly offered to drop off the tennis player and another friend in their respective apartments.

The report states that after a while, Guice asked to come over to the woman's unit to which she permitted. However, the female player was already drunk at the time and felt that Guice had taken advantage of the situation that night.

Derrius Guice's attorney Peter D. Greenspun defended his client and claimed that the player was indeed innocent:

“Such speculation and innuendo should not be the basis for Derrius to be required to make any comment at all,” Greenspun added. “But he wants to be absolutely clear. The allegations in this story are just that and have no basis in fact.”

In late June, the former tennis player joined seven other women in a lawsuit against the NCAA, seeking damages for sexual assaults they have allegedly suffered at the hands of several male athletes.

Notwithstanding the most recent allegations, Guice's future on the gridiron seemed to have already ended. The third-year player was waived by the team on August 7, 2020, after he was arrested and charged with counts of strangulation, assault, battery, and destruction of property.

The latest issues seemed to have made his comeback to the league next to impossible.
