Larry Fitzgerald and the Arizona Cardinals were able to defeat the Washington Football Team in Week 2, improving to 2-0 to begin the season. While the Cardinals won the game, Fitzgerald had nothing but praise for their young receiver Terry McLaurin in his latest Instagram post.

Fitzgerald chose to return for his 17th season in the NFL in 2020 with the Cardinals putting together a talented roster. Even though Fitzgerald has seen a limited role this season, he's going to be a surefire Hall of Famer when it's all said and done.

As of this moment, Fitzgerald is second all-time in receptions and receiving yards, only behind Jerry Rice. Also, he's caught 120 touchdowns in his illustrious career, giving him the sixth-most receiving touchdowns in NFL history.

Therefore, when Fitzgerald speaks highly of Terry McLaurin, everyone should be taking notice. During Sunday's game against the Cardinals, McLaurin hauled in seven receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown.

Despite being put in a less-than-ideal situation in Washington, McLaurin has been a bright spot for them. Altogether, in his first 16 games in the NFL, McLaurin has now recorded 70 catches for 1,105 yards and eight touchdowns.

Washington selected McLaurin in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. Even though he was the 12th wide receiver in 2019, McLaurin posted the second-most receiving yards and touchdowns for rookie wideouts a season ago.

There's no doubt that Fitzgerald is one of the most well-respected wide receivers to ever play in the NFL. Seeing that he's a fan of Terry McLaurin's game, fans in Washington are excited to see what the future holds for the former Buckeye.
