Two vital cogs of the Washington Redskins' offensive future achieved career firsts on the same play during Sunday's defeat to the New York Jets. Quarterback Dwayne Haskins recorded his first career passing touchdown during the fourth quarter, dumping the ball off to running back Derrius Guice, who sliced through the Jets defense before finding the end zone.

Haskins would add a second passing touchdown later in the quarter. Making his second career start, the former Ohio State signal caller has scuffled early on in his professional career, having tossed five interceptions in his first four games.

As for Guice, who the team chose in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, his first score came after he was forced to miss the first season of his career due to a torn ACL. Guice will have to carve out his niche in a crowded Washington backfield moving forward, but Sunday will be an afternoon he'll never forget.
