The Houston Rockets are one of the best teams in the NBA, sitting in third in the Western Conference with a 45-27 record. They've had problems with their depth at the guard position this season, however. They're hoping Chris Chiozza is the answer.

The Rockets have a lot of depth at a lot of positions. However, with Eric Gordon seeing time at the three, there's very little depth at the guard position, especially with the injury concerns of Gordon and Paul.

That's why it's no surprise they're bringing in Chiozza with their open roster spot. He won't be seeing much time, but if he ever is needed, he's someone they can trust alongside Harden.

Chiozza is averaging 13.2 points and 7.7 assists per game in the G League. He can create his own shot, as well as create for others. He's also an impressive three point shooter (40.7 percent), which makes him a great fit for a shooting team like the Rockets.

Don't expect Chris Chiozza to play much, if at all, for the Rockets. This is simply a depth move in case of emergency. However, it's a big moment for him. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a long career in the NBA for the 23-year-old.
