Houston Rockets rookie sensation Jalen Green had another poor shooting night on Thursday in a 122-91 blowout loss against the mighty Utah Jazz. After going a miserable 3-of-16 from the floor and 0-and-8 from distance, the 19-year-old just had to invoke Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

Green took to Twitter to get some much-needed inspiration from the Black Mamba after yet another miserable night from the field for the Rockets youngster:

Green has indeed been struggling to start the season. Houston's second overall pick is coming off a 4-of-16 shooting night in a loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. The poor shooting is not exactly a huge surprise and things can only get better for Green from here on out — especially since he has that Mamba Mentality going for him.

Despite the rough start to his debut campaign, Green has definitely had some flashes of brilliance early on. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard exploded for a career-high 30 points against the Boston Celtics on Sunday, which included an absolute hammer of a jam over Jayson Tatum.

There are going to be a lot of ups and downs for Green the rest of the way, but so long as he keeps his head up, the sky remains to be the limit for the highly-touted Rockets rookie.
