Houston Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni was caught on a video reacting to the blockbuster trade between his team and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday.

D'Antoni was in the 2019 NBA Las Vegas Summer League when he found out about the trade. It appears the veteran head coach was talking to several people in the arena when the news about the trade broke out.

After that, the veteran head coach was seen making a phone call, which is still likely related to the huge trade.

D'Antoni will coach former NBA Most Valuable Player Russell Westbrook after the Rockets acquired him in a trade with the Thunder. The Rockets had to give up veteran playmaker Chris Paul along with two first-round picks and two pick swaps in exchange for the explosive guard.

The Rockets will now have a new superstar duo to compete with the other retooled rosters in the Western Conference. The deal reunited Westbrook with James Harden, whom he played with during the Rockets superstar's first three seasons in the league.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Westbrook informed the Thunder that he wants to be traded to the Rockets because of Harden.

The Thunder obliged similar to what they did to Paul George, who got his request on Saturday when he was dealt to his hometown team Los Angeles Clippers.
