Houston Rockets center Nene didn't play against the Los Angeles Lakers Saturday night at Staples Center, a game which saw Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram get ejected after a massive brawl took place in the fourth quarter.

Despite sitting out due to a calf injury, Nene offered his two cents on what transpired between Paul, Rondo and Ingram, telling Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated, “Two against one. A coward move.”

Nene is referring to how Chris Paul was essentially going up against Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram alone. After Rondo allegedly spit at Paul, the two point guards starting punching each other, and then Ingram came in and took a blind side shot at Paul.

It was just an overall ugly scene at Staples Center, overshadowing what turned out to be a good, competitive game in LeBron James' regular-season debut at home in a Lakers uniform.

The Rockets take on the Los Angeles Clippers Sunday, so the NBA will likely announce the suspensions for Rondo, Paul and Ingram at some point before the game. Ingram figures to get the most games considering he started the fight after pushing reigning MVP James Harden, and then came in with the cheap shot on Paul. Not a good look for the third-year forward.
