Houston Rockets superstar point guard Russell Westbrook says his trade from the Oklahoma City Thunder was a crazy process, but a collaborative effort.
Westbrook says the trade talks came quickly and moving to Houston was the best decision for his career.

Russell Westbrook probably would have liked to play his entire career with the Thunder, but after OKC traded small forward Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers, the former MVP saw the writing on the wall and knew it was time to leave OKC.
Westbrook is the Thunder franchise leader in points, free throws and box/minus. He finished his SuperSonics/Thunder career with averages of 23.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 8.4 assists. Westbrook averaged a triple-double the past three seasons.
The Rockets are now title contenders with Russell Westbrook in the fold next to James Harden. The two MVPs will try and lead Houston to the championship in 2019-20, although it won't be easy. The Los Angeles Lakers have LeBron James and Anthony Davis, while the Clippers have Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
The Rockets, though, are the only team in the NBA right now with two former MVPs leading the charge. It's going to be a lot of fun to watch Westbrook and Harden on a nightly basis. Rockets fans are excited to see how the two friends are going to mesh on the court.
