Houston Rockets star point guard Russell Westbrook has always been known for his unique style choices. From wacky patterns, crazy materials or anything in between, Westbrook is not afraid to go against the grain when it comes to fashion.

During Saturday's game between the Rockets and the Charlotte Hornets, the former MVP sat on the bench. Westbrook had been ruled out for the game in a case of load management and, as a result, was wearing a suit on the sideline as most players who are not playing do.

However, while most players wear their suits with dress pants, the Rockets guard decided to switch it up and wear his with a pair of shorts.

Russell Westbrook's unique style choice drew the attention of the announcers, who had their laugh at the point guard's expense.

On the court, Westbrook has managed to prove that he can still be one of the league's top guards. After a slower start to the season, Westbrook has caught fire for the Rockets.

During the month of February, the 31-year old averaged an impressive 33.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game while shooting 54.9 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from deep.

Westbrook's strong play also helped lead the Rockets to a 9-2 record in the month and a 39-22 record overall. Unfortunately for him, Houston lost Saturday's contest and dropped to 39-23.
