The Houston Rockets want Jimmy Butler, but if they fail in their bid to acquire the Philadelphia 76ers swingman, they still have six other targets that they would turn their focus on.

The Rockets seem intent on re-calibrating their roster in the summer. However, while Butler is their dream addition, they also have the likes of Danny Green, Kevon Looney and DeAndre Jordan among others as potential targets, per Sam Amick of The Athletic.

A source with knowledge of the Rockets’ plans said Danny Green, Jeremy Lamb, Al-Farouq Aminu, DeAndre Jordan, Brook Lopez and Kevon Looney are also possible targets. But Butler, make no mistake, is the dream addition.

Butler is eligible to ink a hefty four-year, $140 million deal this summer. However, the Rockets don't have enough cap space and might need to do a sign-and-trade or a multi-team deal to sign the veteran forward.

The Butler rumor, as well as the other free agent targets,  is a clear sign that the Rockets are heading towards a major roster shakeup. After failing to get over the Golden State Warriors in the past two playoffs, Houston knows they need to get another star and make key additions if they want to contend for the title.
