Monday night turned out to be a very frustrating one for the Houston Rockets. Already heading into their matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies without injured star Chris Paul, they ultimately lost the game, which added to their woes. James Harden was also involved in an altercation, which did not help their cause at all.

With 2:46 left in the fourth quarter, Mario Chalmers appeared to have tried to trip The Beard using his foot, after he got hit by an elbow that sent him to the floor. Harden took exception to it, and retaliated by pushing him twice, and not allowing him to stand up.

The scuffle resulted in a delay in the game, as players from both teams had to clear up the incident first, and made sure it did not escalate any more. James Harden was assessed with an offensive foul, and he and Mario Chalmers also received a technical foul each.

The Grizzlies have been a surprising team so far this season and are currently 3-0, with wins over two of the favorites in the Western Conference, including the Golden State Warriors. Despite losing their first game, the Rockets are still in a good spot, and have a chance to get back to winning ways on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
