Houston Rockets superstar Russell Westbrook's love-hate relationship with opposing fans continued on Friday night during his team's visit to the Target Center to face the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With 38.6 ticks remaining in the first half, Westbrook alerted security and was pointing to a supposed heckling fan sitting courtside. The fan in question was not thrown out of the ball game but appeared to have received a stern warning.

An animated Russell Westbrook then returned to the playing court, as the Rockets held a four-point lead at the time, 59-54.

Westbrook, of course, is no stranger to fan altercations, figuring in a commotion with a heated Utah Jazz fan last year. The fan, who was accused of hurling racial abuse to the NBA star, has since been banned for life.

Jazz's superstar Donovan Mitchell also figured in a similar incident last month, when he had a rowdy Philadelphia 76ers fan removed from the Wells Fargo Arena.
