Russell Westbrook, the NBA's reigning Most Valuable Player, truly deserves that accolade after becoming the first player since Oscar Robertson in 1962 to average a triple-double throughout the regular season.

Westbrook was named the league MVP this past week, and homages for his spectacular campaign didn't stop there. Mountain Dew — one of Westbrook's corporate sponsors — in collaboration with fashion designer Mark McNairy, had just released sketches of the first-ever “triple-double breasted” suit:

As seen in the first image above, the number 42 is emblazoned above the breast pocket, signifying the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard's record number of triple-doubles from the previous season. The number 01 found on the inner breast pocket, meanwhile, stands for his clutch factor with one second left on the game clock.

On the second image, the word “THEY” crossed out with a red ‘X' found underneath the back of the jacket collar relates to Westbrook's ad for Mountain Dew as a symbol for his “Don't Do They” slogan.

The camouflage theme of the double-breasted suit (not really triple-breasted, sadly) may come off as a little too avant-garde to most people's eyes. But Westbrook has been well-known to rock some edgy attire in his post-game conferences and beyond, so this unique spin on formal wear should still be a good ‘fit' for the MVP's taste and his eclectic wardrobe collection.
