Alvin Kamara has taken his NASCAR fandom to a whole new level. The New Orleans Saints running back just revealed on Sunday that he's taken a gig at NASCAR. This also came just before the staging of the 2021 Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon, Tennessee.

If you're wondering what this new job for Alvin Kamara entails, then let's have NASCAR expound on it. Via the company's official website:

“As the first-ever Growth and Engagement Advisor, Kamara will work directly with NASCAR leadership on strategic planning and creative opportunities that support its fan development efforts.”

Kamara's love story with NASCAR has come a long way. He didn't have much of an idea of how NASCAR races work, but after attending his first race in 2020 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, his interest in the sport has grown exponentially.

The partnership with NASCAR also seems to be a way for the sport's governing body to improve its reach beyond its traditional market, and Kamara appears to be the perfect ambassador to preach the message.

“It’s an honor to be able to team up with NASCAR and be their first-ever Growth and Engagement Advisor,” Kamara said. “I’m excited to use my passion as a fan to help shape their long-term efforts to grow the sport.”

This is a worthwhile endeavor for Kamara while it's still the offseason in the NFL. That being said, things are ramping up in terms of the Saints' preparation for the upcoming 2021 NFL season, with Kamara expected to play a huge role again for the team.
