The New Orleans Saints might have a a problem. The Saints face the Chicago Bears in a Week 7 matchup, but they might have to do so without superstar running back Alvin Kamara because of a high ankle sprain.

That's terrible news any week given Kamara is one of the most dynamic players in the NFL. However, it's even worse since the Bears boast one of the best defenses in the league. Already without Drew Brees, the Saints can't afford to miss much more.

New Orleans has a backup plan in the form of Zach Zenner in case Kamara can't play:

Zenner spent the first four seasons of his career with the Detroit Lions. However, he hasn't played in a game (or been on a team) this year.

In his four years, Zenner never got a major opportunity. That being said, he did manage some solid games in the few chances he did get to shine.

That includes his last game he ever played for the Lions, when he ran for 93 yards and a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers. He even had a catch for 30 yards in that game.

Zach Zenner could be a nice depth piece for the Saints, and he could carve out a role if Kamara doesn't give it a go. Of course, don't expect Zenner to play a major role regardless, with Latavius Murray set to take the heavy majority of the plays if Kamara sits.
