The game between the Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints on Sunday is going to be simulcasted on Nickelodeon. This comes as an attempt to drum up more interest from kids to watch NFL action. With the contest taking place on Nickelodeon, Sean Payton said that he'd volunteer to be ‘slimed' if the Saints come out with a victory, via USA TODAY's Jori Epstein.

Before the 2020 season, it was already known that a playoff game would be shown on Nickelodeon. But following Week 17, it was announced that the game that would be simulcasted on Nickelodeon would be the one between the Bears and Saints.

While being shown on Nickelodeon with a more kid-friendly broadcast, the game will also be aired on CBS. Tony Romo and Jim  Nantz will be the duo that calls the game on CBS.

For those that don't know, sliming on Nickelodeon is a popular thing during events and shows. When someone wins an award, they'll typically have green slime poured onto them to celebrate their victory. At the same time, sometimes contest losers or wrong answers can also result in a sliming, so no one really is safe.

The Saints (12-4) come into Sunday's playoff game against the Bears (8-8) as heavy favorites given the discrepancy of records between the two teams. Not to mention, New Orleans is getting Michael Thomas back in their offense while Chicago will be without Roquan Smith and Darnell Mooney.

If the Saints end up doing what is expected of them, then someone better find Payton to make sure he puts his money (or slime) where his mouth is.
