Mr. Do It All for the New Orleans Saints, Taysom Hill, isn't going to sign his tender, but he will participate in the virtual offseason. The deadline has passed for other teams to sign Hill to a contract sheet, so if he wants to play football next year, it will be with the Saints on a one-year, $4.7 million deal.

According to a source of Pro Football Talk, Hill isn't in a hurry to sign the tender, but there isn't much risk in participating in the virtual offseason program.

Hill and the Saints could agree to a provision that allows him to participate in the offseason workouts and still protect himself. If the two sides agree, Hill could sign a provision that puts the Saints on the hook for his contract if he were to be lost for the season because of an injury.

There were some who believed if Drew Brees would have hung up the cleats, Hill would have been the starting quarterback for the 2020 season, but that didn't happen with the future Hall of Famer coming back.

In the last few seasons, Hill has done everything for the Saints, including playing special teams, lining up at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver.

It's unclear when exactly Hill plans on signing the tender but it's going to happen at some point. The only other option for Hill is to try and force a trade or to sit out a year, but both of those options seem unlikely at this point.
