The Las Vegas Raiders are officially a thing in ā€œSin City.ā€ After opening the 2020 campaign on the road against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, the franchise formerly known as the Oakland Raiders opened up play in Las Vegas on Monday evening against the New Orleans Saints as Allegiant Stadium was unveiled to the world.

However, it wasn't the Raiders that scored the first points in the history of the NFL in Las Vegas as the Saints quickly put the football through the uprights for a field goal en route to going up 3-0 in the first quarter. Not only that, but the Saints then added the first-ever touchdown in Allegiant Stadium history as running back Alvin Kamara found the end zone early on in the first half.

With the Saints leading the way by the score of 10-0 with about 10 minutes left in the first half, the Raiders finally got on the board to cut the lead to just three points. Raiders fullback Alec Ingold scored the franchise's first Las Vegas-based touchdown at home on a short pitch-and-catch with quarterback Derek Carr.
