The New Orleans Saints were in desperate need of a big play after allowing the Minnesota Vikings to rattle off 17 unanswered points. Fortunately, Drew Brees and Taysom hill were able to oblige.
Brees managed to find Hill over the top of the Vikings secondary for a 20-yard touchdown ti cut the lead to three, via NFL Network:
Hill has had no problems making his presence felt in this NFC Wild Card Game. His first big play of the day came when he delivered a 50-yard strike to wide receiver Deonte Harris to set up running back Alvin Kamara for an easy touchdown in the second quarter.
Hill continues to be quite the Swiss Army knife for this Saints offense and it appears his role has only gotten bigger in the postseason. Head coach Sean Payton will likely need to keep him involved if they hope to defend their home turf and advance to the next round.
