The Seattle Seahawks are one of the better teams in the NFL with fans considering them as favorites to make a run to the Super Bowl. However, their narrow win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers left a lot to be desired on defense. And Bobby Wagner is not happy with how the team tried to stop Jameis Winston.

Gregg Bell and other members of the media approached the linebacker after the overtime win. The atmosphere of the locker room post-game was loud and cheerful. However, he was not smiling at all as he talked to the press about what he felt was his biggest takeaway from the game and what they should do to improve their performance moving forward.

The biggest talking point for the entire Seahawks defense would be Winston’s outstanding performance against them. He may have caused a fumble that was costly to the team, but he put on a proper show for the fans. He threw for 335 yards and two passing touchdowns. He was close to faultless during the game.

The team failed to pressure Winston with their pass rushing. Moreover, the secondary wasn’t quick enough to make any interceptions on Winston’s passes. From the way things looked, Russell Wilson and the rest of the offensive unit bailed the defense from a horrible loss.

With Wagner looking focused like this, expect the Seahawks defense to practice hard over the coming days. They aspire for the Super Bowl, and Super Bowl winners don’t thrive on lackluster defense.
