Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is almost at 100% and ready to bring fantasy teams back to life with his presence on the field Sunday.

Russell Wilson fractured his middle finger on his throwing hand during a Week 5 loss to the Rams. Wilson, on his follow through, hit his hand on a Rams' lineman's helmet. This caused him to have to have surgery on his finger. Thankfully for Seahawks fans and fantasy managers, it seems to have healed quicker than anticipated.

As noted by Bleacher Report, he is almost fully recovered.

“I feel great. I feel really close. I'm not 100 percent yet, but I'm pretty dang close,” Wilson said Thursday. “I don't need to wear a glove. The hand feels strong.”

Fantasy managers who held onto him despite the prognosis might be rewarded this weekend. Seattle travels to Green Bay Sunday afternoon. The over/under line in Vegas is 49.5 with the Packers favored by 3.5 points.

That implies that Seattle will score 23 points, give or take. Chris Carson is still not fully healthy, so expect the Seahawks to lean on Wilson in his first game back.

Wilson has a tough matchup the following week, hosting the 8-1 Arizona Cardinals. But once you get that game behind you, Wilson's schedule looks very fantasy friendly.

In succession Wilson gets to play Washington, San Francisco and Houston. Those defenses allow the most, 5th most and 12th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. If Wilson owners are lucky enough to make it to their championship game, they will have a prize waiting.

Week 17 the Seahawks host the Detroit Lions. Have fun!
