It's hard to be Ben Simmons right now. He's found himself in the headlines once again after publicly stating that he wants out of the Philadelphia 76ers. While he has every right to voice his displeasure, exiting the team on the heels of an atrocious performance in the NBA Playoffs won't make fans very happy.

While he has yet to pick his preferred destination, Simmons has been busy playing in pickup games. He's been having tuneup runs with fellow NBA players like Utah Jazz guard Ben Simmons, Los Angeles Lakers veteran Rajon Rondo, Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon, and Memphis Grizzlies sophomore Brandon Clarke, just to name a few.

Simmons also faced a bunch of amateur stars, including Zaire Wade. The surname might sound familiar. And just like his old man, Dwyane Wade's son showed impressive athleticism going up against NBA players, even making in-your-face layups against Simmons (via Overtime).

The fact that Simmons is one of the best defenders in the NBA makes Zaire's daring buckets even more laudable. Yes, Simmons probably was just coasting, but it's not every day a kid can score on a bona fide NBA star (even a deeply disgruntled one).

The 19-year-old Zaire, who's seen Simmons play up close against D-Wade when he was still with the Miami Heat, recently received a scholarship offer from Nebraska.

As for Ben Simmons, well, he's gonna get offers real soon as well.
