Philadelphia 76ers players Joel Embiid and Shake Milton got into a screaming argument in their eventual loss to the Indiana Pacers on Saturday. In the following game, a win over the San Antonio Spurs, Milton bounced back by putting up a stellar performance. Embiid shared that Milton had some choice words for him before the game.

In their 127-121 loss to the Pacers on Saturday, TJ Warren dropped 53 points. Milton, who defended him most of the night, got some heat from Embiid as he allowed Warren to drop 19 points in the first quarter alone.

According to Embiid, Milton took their screaming match personally. And this was the main reason for his great game in the 76ers 132-130 win over the Spurs on Monday.

Two of Milton's 16 markers included the game-winning shot from deep. He also had five rebounds and three assists.

Hopefully, this performance by Milton smooths up the rough patches among the 76ers players. After all, chemistry issues have hounded them all season long. That screaming argument alone reveals how tarnished their camaraderie can be at times.

Perhaps this is the main reason why many experts claim that the team is under-performing. They have a great trio in Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons, and Joel Embiid which is backed up by a decent crop of role players. Yet the 76ers remain a mid tier team in the eyes of these analysts.

Over the last two seasons, the 76ers have made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Semifinals. If they want to make a deeper run, then their chemistry has to be in elite form.
