The Philadelphia 76ers headed into Game 2 looking for another victory over the Washington Wizards. At the end of the first half, the Sixers were up by 14 as they were led by their Big Three of Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, and Tobias Harris. However, Embiid shocked everybody with an incredibly unique celebration after a tough finish.
What is Embiid doing? The celebrations in the NBA just continue to get more and more bizarre, and perhaps Embiid knows what day it is. The MVP finalist has had an extraordinary season, so it's hard to argue or question the celebration.
The Sixers finished as the top seed in the Eastern Conference and are desperate to make a trip to the NBA Finals after falling short over the past few seasons. Embiid, a key member of The Process, is undoubtedly happy for the success Philly has had after having to suffer losing seasons when he first entered the NBA.
The reactions from Embiid's celebration were something else.
Whatever he is doing must be working because the Sixers are well on their way to a 2-0 lead and are likely headed to the Eastern Conference Finals in their first season under head coach Doc Rivers. Simmons has also been named as a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year as the Sixers have been tremendous all season long.
