Philadelphia 76ers rookie Matisse Thybulle would love for the Sixers to sign Joe Johnson.

Johnson is drawing interest from multiple NBA teams, including the Sixers, after his MVP campaign in the BIG3 league.

While The Athletic reported on Tuesday that the Detroit Pistons are the favorites to land Johnson, Matisse Thybulle is holding out hope that Iso Joe lands on the Sixers.

“I mean, Iso Joe, that’s a walking bucket. Who wouldn’t want to play with him? I’m not going to say that it’s easy for him, but just how he makes it look so effortless,” Thybulle told Brandon ‘Scoop B' Robinson of Heavy.

“Like getting buckets is not a problem for him and everyone in the league now tries to score and go at a fast pace. It’s like the dude does that better than anyone. Watching him do that in the BIG3, people thought that he was going to be done and to watch him come back and to still be playing at that level is pretty impressive.”

Joe Johnson last played in the NBA in 2017-18, appearing in 55 games with the Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets. A seven-time NBA All-Star, Johnson has career NBA averages of 16.0 points in 1,276 games with the Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Atlanta Hawks, Nets, Miami Heat, Jazz and Rockets.

The Sixers are widely considered one of the best teams in the NBA heading into next season. Their starting lineup of Ben Simmons, Josh Richardson, Tobias Harris, Al Horford and Joel Embiid is as good as it gets.

If the Sixers are somehow able to beat the Pistons for Johnson's services, they will become even more lethal on offense.
